Andrea Folli (b.1988)
I my paintings I explore the threshold between visibility and disappearance. I create suspended landscapes and metaphysical scenes, immersed in dark and atmospheric environments, where time feels distant yet strangely close.
Nature becomes an enigma: a silent presence emerging from layered veils of oil paint. Figures and forms slowly surface from darkness, inhabiting spaces of waiting and transformation.
I like to paint light and shadow, thinking about memory and oblivion, reality and vision. Each painting is a fragment of suspended time, where silence becomes tension.
